I don't mind sharing who I am. I've already done that here. I do want you to keep in mind that where I come from, there are more people than Avengers trying to do what's right for the world. And more than once, where I come from, you've supported systems that hurt people like me an alarming amount of times. To be fair: lately you tend to think I'm a terrorist leader of a splinter group and you think I need to be reined in, and you have your reasons for thinking that as much as I have my own reasons for acting. However, you're generally on the right side of the history and as a fellow leader I respect that. We've worked together before, many times, and we'll work together again. I believe you're trying to do something good by bringing people together. So I'm not here to hurt your efforts. I'm here to be your ally.

I respect that, and I thank you for being willing to take me for who I am instead of who the man you knew was. We could all use allies--God knows the world is fractured enough already.

Yes. I'm happy to strategize with us. Some of our number, the people like me, won't want to be involved. But others will. I had assumed this might only be affecting people like me, so knowing you and Winter Soldier are here gives me something new to think about.

Honestly, I thought the same. I'd assumed this was something to do with Thanos, but, well.

Our...movie...is coming out soon. Do you get updated memories whenever a new issue hits the stands, or have they been relatively static? It'll be good to have some forewarning if we're about to get hit with new memories.

I don't believe I have -- but the memories are hard to parse, and I don't assume that it's working the same way for all of us as it is. I guess you're about to find out.

For what it's worth: I've fought Thanos before where I'm from, as part of a strike force, alongside you. It's not something I ever want to do again and I'm sorry that it's been happening to you. This doesn't seem like Thanos at all, though.
